Double duty

For the past 5 days I have spent most of my time with contractors and shopping at hardware stores - navigating my way through paint, wood beams, drywall and light fixtures, all in an effort to get my first retail store built out and open for business by April 2nd. This task would be daunting for a gal who does not know the difference between a nail and screw, except for the fact that hardware shops are filled with all sorts of great finds, even for me. I almost fell over and in love with tool belts and bags made by Klein, makers of tools, and handy bags for all those things. The bags are made from heavy duty canvas and leather, reminiscent of my favorite weekend bag by LL Bean. I picked out one for me, and one for my general contractor.

Shower me with ideas

I like many get their best inspirations whilst in the shower. So it is no surprise that someone came up with the idea to invent a waterproof notepad. Countdown to Liberty

Over 200 pretty Liberty floral printed items will be scattered throughout the stores in almost every department. Exclusive MAC lipstick, watering cans, 10 speed bikes, dresses, tea pots, bathing suits, purses, linens...the list goes on like a daisy chain. Run, don't walk to your nearest store or online. I'll be taking one of everything!

Purse SOS

Today I am sharing one of my all time favorite necessities. It is called a Pouchee - the ultimate purse organizer. I use it everyday, and have an extra one in the glove compartment of my car. The Pouchee has a place for your cell phone, credit cards, insurance cards, keys, lipsticks, sunglasses, moola, my son's favorite shell he picked up at the beach, and much more. Bath time magic

I love to shop, and especially love to pass along my finds to all my girlfriends.  So when I came across Fiat Luxe felted soap balls during a christmas shopping event, I could not help but grab handfuls of these playful suds for each of them. The soap suds come in 8 different scents including amber, lavender mint and verbena {verbena is my favorite}. The soaps are wrapped in pure wool, and when wet, lather up to create a perfect bathing experience.

A purse for all reasons

I can't seem to get enough of little purses to hold just about everything I get my hands on. I have a zipper pouch for my son's special pencils, one that carries make up, and others to hold my sewing kit, another for first aid {because with kids there are always little accidents}, one for quickie nail fixes, and of course - a coin pouch.
